The topic of my project is the relationship between media influence and tolerance. I am focusing on the film aspect of popular culture. The media that I'm using is PowerPoint and maybe quick time video. There has not really been a change to any decisions previously made.

Today we practiced using text in Photoshop.

Statement of Intent

For my senior project, my end product will be a film festival at the end of the semester at the either of the following venues, the Dallas Museum of Art, Angelika Film Theater, or Richland College. The films I will be showing at the festival will be sending messages that promote tolerance and frown upon genocide and discriminatory behavior. Some films I will be showing include Night and Fog, Schindler's List, Milk, American History X. and many more. The films will be shown on the basis that the media and popular culture help form the ideals of American citizens.
